What is the 4C Simulation?
4C stands for 'Compressing Cash Conversion Cycles' and is a multi-function, multi-dimensional simulation like none other. It is a realistic, live representation of a business in need change, and provides a unique environment for learning, involving significant cash flow improvement and change management. The simulation was developed specifically to partner with organisations' initiatives to outperform competitors by not only creating more profit and value, but whilst maintaining and improving the levels of cash flow that are critical in any business' success.
Who Should attend?
This unique board game is for anyone involved in managing cash flow and in particular those in operational and finance roles at any level: Credit Control, Sales, Logistics, Delivery systems, Procurement, Supply Chain - anyone involved in the movement of cash and value, in order to improve operational efficiency.
This Discovery Workshop is a proven way to allow ProfitAbility's clients the chance to participate in an exciting new product, which has already significantly helped some of our existing clients in achieving their targets. Anyone looking at ways in which they could support their organisation's current initiatives should participate to understand how the power of Experiential Learning can empower behavioural change and results at work.
What will they learn?
The 4C simulation effectively shows the need to understand how a participant's own work affects cash flow and working capital from a company perspective. It goes further than this though, in demonstrating how to reduce or optimise working capital in your part of the business. Attemps at business improvement are immediately tested to see the effects they have had on cashflow, the internal supply chain, sales and profitability. The positive, yet behaviour-changing experience provides motivation for effective change within an organisation to occur, and allows techniques which can be tried and tested during the simulation, to be enabled in the real world, immediately.
Learning outcomes include understanding and improving:
| • | Where and how cash gets tied up in the business |
| • | How improved communication between departments leads to increasing or decreasing working capital requirements |
| • | The principles of cash flow management |
| • | How changes in any part of the business can improve cash flow |
| • | Lean Production best practice, and it's impact on cash flow |
| • | How advanced production management can radically reduce working capital requirements |
| • | The impact of cash flow on different departments such as production, R&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance |
