According to a simulation created by our team of experts, there are 532,441 possible outcomes of the decisions we make.
Our “Decision Maker” app, simulates the complex challenges that plague every enterprise environment. It engages and inspires leaders to think differently about how their decisions impact people and performance.
For years now ProfitAbility have been helping our clients to rapidly increase levels of adoption when it comes to new ways of working, or new technologies. For the first time we have designed an online decision making platform – called Decision Maker – that simulates the roll out of critical strategic initiatives in an enterprise business with precision.
We recently launched the new platform in June at Zilliant’s Mindshare conference in Austin, Texas.
We had previously attended in 2018, putting attendees through a pricing simulation that we had developed specifically called ‘Pricing for Profit’ – an experiential training course emphasising the need to focus on differentiating factors, preventing a race to the bottom.
This year, attendees at the conference experienced a simulation on our Decision Maker platform, called SalesJedi.
This simulates the implementation of a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System within a business. Users are presented with scenarios, and from that scenario they have options to choose a path forwards. The decision that users make will then influence Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Utilisation of the software, Customer Satisfaction, Productivity, etc. This will then directly impact, the Profit & Loss, both in the long, and the short term. Essentially, the tool makes people ask one question of themselves; how much of an impact will it have on the business if I do not adopt new technologies well, and quickly?
Within the 532,441 possible permutations, there were multiple winning strategies that would have ended up with an EBITDA that would top the Leaderboard. We had two prizes, one for the winner on the first night, and one for the winner at the end of the three days. Laura Rude from Digikey won the prize for the first night, comfortably edging out the competition.
The main prize was won by Kemet Electronics’ Matthew Theis, who played the game 30 times over the 3 days!
ProfitAbility now work with a number of Zilliant’s clients to rapidly accelerate adoption of their AI based CRM system. Most recently, one of their customers experienced a $58m uplift in revenues by working with us to carefully design a simulation that enabled their sales teams to experience how a totally different approach to pricing could transform their own, and their company’s performance.
